It was a fun-filled and meaningful day in South Miami as we came together to serve our seniors with community resources, valuable information on fraud prevention, and of course, a little friendly BINGO!
Events like this are a great reminder that outreach is about more than providing information . It’s about creating opportunities for seniors to connect, have fun, and know that their community is there to support them. It was especially rewarding to spend time with our seniors, celebrate our BINGO winners, and give back in such a positive way. Seeing our seniors smiling, laughing, and enjoying the day made it especially meaningful.
A special thank you to the Consortium for a Healthier Miami-Dade Elder Issues Committee, Mayra Garcia with the Florida Department of Health, and all of the wonderful vendors who participated and helped make the day such a success.
A wonderful day of resources, connection, and fun—all with a purpose.
